During our Veteran's Day assembly, Guest Speaker Barry Hendriksen of the White Bear Lake VFW announced the winners of the VFW Patriot's Pen. The 2024-2025 theme was "My Voice in America's Democracy". Each of the students had to write a 300-400 word essay. These winners from Central will now move onto the District 4 contest and possibly state or even nationals! Congratulations to Adiba Ahmady (grade 7), Emmett Weaver (grade 7), and Piper Wilding (grade 8)!

Schools and programs throughout the district honored Veteran’s Day with a variety of activities, including at Central Middle School. Some events were highlighted in a recent video issue of the district's The Week in 62.4 Seconds.
The White Bear Lake Lion's Club has chosen Paige Everhart (1st place), Keegan Terry (2nd place) and Zoya Raza's (3rd place) as the winners of their Peace Poster contest. Paige's poster will now be entered into the district level of the contest!
